The first of Infiniti’s hybrids are arriving in our dealership soon! The Infiniti M Hybrid will be here soon to deliver a gasoline-hybrid drivetrain to the luxury performance sedan line. The Infiniti M hybrid will undoubtedly out do its competition, with the 3.5 liter V6 producing 302 hp and the electric motor contributing a peak of 67 hp, making a total of 369hp on hand to deliver the most remarkable hybrid experience, yet. Power is sent through to the rear wheels via a specialized seven-speed automatic transmission. Depending on the driving situation, the M Hybrid will drive solely on battery power, solely gas engine or a combination of the two. No official fuel efficiency numbers have been released, but experts expect it to achieve somewhere in the neighborhood of 27 mpg city/32 mpg highway.
“We’re excited to be able to bring in the new Infiniti M Hybrid – with its exceptional blend of power, efficiency, style, luxury and technology – at an M.S.R.P. of under $54,000,” said Infiniti Vice President Ben Poore. “Competitively priced, though with little real direct competition, we expect the M Hybrid to continue the strong sales momentum the new Infiniti M Sedan has been experiencing since its launch in the 2011 model year.”
